Sorrel (Hibiscus tea for lowering BP and gum health))

1 c. dried sorrel (hibiscus) flowers

10 c. water

1 cinnamon stick

1 whole star anise

1 piece orange peel (ignore picture which shows a whole orange sliced into the tea- and don't use for gums at all)

10 whole cloves (these are good for healing cavities)

1 inch, give or take, grated ginger

Bring to boil slowly, and then simmer for an hour.

If sweetener is wanted, add honey or sugar.

Let sit to cool to room temp. Some water will have evaporated.

Pour through strainer into pitcher and refrigerate.

Beet juice is also good for lowering blood pressure.
