Cauliflower



Wash and chop. Cauliflower is great steamed or roasted. Add some butter and/or salt and pepper if desired. Great side dish, or meat substitute, or carb substitute. I usually use it in curries. 

Some people use it to make a white sauce, or in place of rice in Fried Rice. All good alternatives if you're looking to cut down on carbs. 

Tumeric Roasted Cauliflower
cook cauliflower florets tossed with garlic, evoo, turmeric, cumin, red pepper flakes, and salt.  Roast in oven preheated to 450 degrees.  Turn occasionally until browned and tender about 25 minutes.
