Halloween Mix and other Treat Ideas

Isn't Fall the best season?! Here's my deelicious Halloween snack mix! Serve in a giant bowl or individual snack bags. Great for after school snack, after sports snack, parties, meetings, gifts, or lunches. You won't be able to stop eating it!

Stir together in a BIG bowl (it is best to get one that has a tupperware lid to seal when not eating to keep fresh):

1 bag of regular Chex mix (Bold) (consider upping this to two bags, or one bag plus a bag of Gardettos Rye chips)
1 box of caramel popcorn or buttery toffee popcorn (I do a box of Crunch n' Munch)
1 container of pretzels dipped in yogurt or white chocolate (I find this in the candy isle at Walmart)
1 bag of Brach's candy corn mix (with the pumpkins) (optional- just for more fun shapes)**
1 bag of candy corn (good quality- we like the candy corn from Sprouts)**
1 bag of Reece's pieces candies
1 bag of individually wrapped Rollo's candies

*popcorn does contain peanuts so be careful to warn people in case they have a peanut allergy
** we make this year round, and cannot always find candy corn, so just leave it out

I don't mind people picking out what they like, but it is good to have little paper cups so everyone can get a scoop to last a while

Other great Halloween snacks are:
'Dirt and Worms' in a cup
Cuties with Jack O'Lantern faces drawn on
White or Milk chocolate dipped marshmallows-pretzels-cookies-etc.-then dip in Halloween sprinkles
Witches hats
and Pumpkin Cupcakes with cream cheese frosting *see recipe.

Fall is the best season! I was happy to find some beautiful red leaves at Temple this week.
