WFPB Apple Crisp or Pie
*Substitute coconut oil or other for the butter if desired, but add a pinch of salt
-Peel and chop apples (about 4 or 5), and place in a buttered pan
-treat with a bit of lemon juice to prevent browning and give flavor
-dust with cinnamon

Using 1/4 cup of softened butter, mash it together with your fingers with about 3/4 cup of oats, and 3/4 cup of Muesli cereal (I like Bob's Red Mill which has oats, dates, raisins, nuts and seeds), and about 3-4 Tbsp of honey (or date paste). Drop this as best you can all over the top of the apples, and cover to bake for 30-45 minutes.
Turns out buttery, slightly sweet, with tart apples and a little crunch! Great substitute for Apple Pie on the holidays.
