Angela's Cream Pies (easy to remember recipe)

 Below is a Buttermilk Pudding Pie and Chocolate Cream Pies

Angela Rockwood's Cream Pies- Pat's cousin Angela made these for us when they let us crash at their house on one of our long drives. It was delicious and easy to remember!

4 c. milk
4 eggs
4 Tbsp cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar

Mix those in a saucepan and stir constantly to keep from scorching until bubbly and thick.

Then remove from heat and put in:
2 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp vanilla
pinch salt

That is the basic recipe. To that you can add different stir-ins to make different flavors:

1 c. coconut and 1/3-1/2 c. chocolate chips, 1/2 tsp coconut flavoring for chocolate-coconut cream pie

Make banana cream, coconut cream, chocolate cream, etc. Makes 2 pies. Top with more whip cream.
