Pumpkin Spice Cake/Cupcakes

This cake is fun to decorate in orange frosting and with lines and a jack o' lantern face like a pumpkin. Or it can just make cupcakes for a kids party during the Fall with orange sprinkles on top. 

1 1/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
15 oz can of pumpkin puree
4 eggs 

2 c. white flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Line a pan with papers for 24 cupcakes, or grease a 15x10x1 pan for bars, a 9x13 cake pan, or two 8x8 or 9x9 rounds. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-45 minutes depending on which one you're doing. 

Cool completely and decorate with cream cheese frosting (see Frostings)
