Manjar (dulce de leche)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Stovetop: Place entire un-opened can of sweetened condensed milk into a small pot and cover with water by 2-3 inches. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 4 hours. Let cool to barely warm or room temperature. (Not real warm or hot because it could burst out of the can!) Open can carefully and spoon into serving dish. Dip sliced apples into this caramelly dip or spread on Chilean bread, crackers, cakes, etc.
For Instapot: 10 minutes under pressure, let cool the same. It's really neat to watch the milky colored sweetened condensed milk come out all brown! Love this Chilean treat! (which is dulce de leche).
