Hot Wings/Drumsticks

*pictured freshly cooked but without hot sauce brushed on yet


Wash and pat dry about 12 chicken wings or 8 drumsticks. Then mix together and coat chicken with this mixture:

1/2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp good chili powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cayenne

Let sit for an hour.

After an hour get a lot of oil hot for deep frying, and place chicken in the pan and cook on High until nicely browned as pictured above. 

Remove onto paper towels to drain. 

Melt together: 1/4 c. butter, with 1/4 c. hot sauce (Franks Red Hot) and brush over the crisp skin well. (not pictured)

Serve with bleu cheese dressing and celery.
