Grandma Theda's Dill Pickles
I like the recipe from Natasha's kitchen too
For 1 quart:
2 Tbsp salt
3/4 c. vinegar
3 heads of dill
1 c. boiling water
(heat water and vinegar together)
2 cloves garlic (if desired)
Pack cucumbers into bottle adding dill as you go along. Have flat rack in boiling water and put on immediately after pouring in the vinegar and water mixture (have it boiling hot and pour over cucumbers). (I'm assuming this was canning, so put a lid on and place jar in the boiling water to seal).
