Stir-Fry,Teriyaki Sauce, Brown Sauce, Orange Sauce

Vegetables, mushrooms, meat, stir-fried, add sauce, and serve with rice.
Basic teriyaki sauce is 1 part tamari, 1 part brown sugar, and fresh minced garlic. Ginger optional.

We like stir-fried veggies with pineapple and sweet and sour meatballs over rice too!

Basic Chinese Brown Sauce
2 Tbsp soy sauce or tamari
3/4 c. water or stock
1-2 tsp minced garlic
1 Tbsp molasses
½- 1 Tbsp ginger, grated
1 Tbsp corn starch

Easy Stir-fry directions:
Cook any meat first.  Remove it from the pan.  Stir-fry your veggies in a little water until water is gone.  Mix up all sauce ingredients in a measuring cup.  Add a few pieces of hot veggies to the cup and stir to temper the cornstarch.  Pour all the sauce into the stir-fry pan with the veggies and meat and bring to a boil.  Simmer for a minute or two until sauce is clear and thickened.  You can make this a Chinese White Sauce by leaving out the molasses.  (Stir-fry in water any of the following- Mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, green beans, cabbage, snap peas, white onions, etc. Add sauce according to directions, and serve over brown rice).
