Grilled Tuna and Cheese (pictured above)
Sometimes the simplest sandwiches are so good!  When we visited Pat’s Aunt Janetta and her large family in Utah, they fed us these sandwiches after church and they really hit the spot!  Why didn’t I think of a tuna grilled cheese sandwich?

Mix tuna with mayo, mustard, sweet pickle relish, shredded cheddar cheese, and onions if desired.  Once well mixed and creamy, make a sandwich and cook in buttered pan, flipping, until the outsides are browned and the insides are melty!

Giant family sized Grilled Cheese- from Aunt Katen
loaf of French bread, sliced lengthwise and buttered both sides. Grill by heating a cookie sheet in a 450 degree oven until hot, then turn off the oven, and place the bread butter side down on the hot cookie sheet to crisp in the oven for 3 minutes. Pull out and turn boiler on. Flip bread over and top one side with ham and the other side with sharp cheddar and roast under broiler for another 2-3 minutes until browned a bit. Put sandwich together and serve with either good mustard or good jam (or tomato jam) like a Monte Cristo sandwich.
