French Toast
Pat loves French Toast. He's fine with store bread, but the better the bread, the better the French Toast. We like to make it out of French bread.
Get however many of slices of bread you need.
For every 2 pieces of bread, generally do 1 egg and a splash of milk whipped up with some cinnamon and nutmeg. But this all depends on the size of the bread slices. So make up however much of the egg, milk, cinnamon mixture you think you need.
Heat a pan with butter and then dip each side of the bread in the egg mixture and cook, turning to brown each side. Nothing wet or soggy should remain in the bread.
Top with Golden Buttermilk Syrup, Maple Syrup, or Dad's favorite, fruit and whipped cream. Peaches or Strawberries. Yum!
Dad always likes his sweet breakfasts with sausage links or bacon on the side.
