Meatballs with spaghetti
Meatballs
1 lb. Ground beef, rinsed, drained in fine colander
1/4 lb. sausage (like Jimmy Dean)
2-3 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup crushed Italian flavored croutons or bread crumbs or saltines, etc.
1 egg, whisked
4 cloves minced garlic
1 c. water or milk or as needed- don't want it too loose
1/2 tsp fennel seeds (optional)
1 tsp give or take salt and pepper, or Montreal Steak seasoning mix, etc
1 small onion, minced
1/2 tsp fennel seeds (optional)
1 tsp give or take salt and pepper, or Montreal Steak seasoning mix, etc
1 small onion, minced
Mix all ingredients together well with clean hands. Form into golf ball size balls (I use a cookie scoop) and brown in
skillet on all sides until cooked through.
Add to warmed sauce and continue to simmer. Serve sauce
and meatballs over a large plate of spaghetti noodles, with Parmesan
cheese.
